Students can check their grades by logging into their Enterprise account (for University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) and looking under "Academic History" under "Registration & Records". (Since NetMath courses are not semester-based courses, these grades will not be found under a particular semester.) Instructions are available here. Back To Top

Yes. You must meet the university requirements to be eligible for grade replacement; check with your college office for more information. To sign up for grade replacement, you should submit your college's grade replacement form directly to your college office soon after you are officially registered for the NetMath course. NetMath courses are eligible for grade replacement, unlike transfer courses taken at other colleges/universities. Back To Top
No. Our students are welcome to visit our campus, but they are never required to physically be on campus. Back To Top
What does the enrollment/registration process require? Do I have to be admitted as a U of I student? Do I have to be an alumnus of the University?

I'm in high school and my school doesn't offer calculus. I'd like to take it through your program, but will the credit transfer to the college or university I will attend next year?
Yes, the credit will transfer if your college will accept transfer credit from the University of Illinois, but you need to alert the office of admissions at that university or college of your credit. Also, you will need to contact the U of I's Office of Admissions and Records. See our Transcript/Credit page for more information. Back To Top

Students can start most NetMath classes at anytime (semester-based courses such as Math 402/403 are exceptions). Back To Top
Students may enroll in only one course at a time. For open enrollment (non-semester based) courses, students may enroll in another course as soon as they finish their current course. Back To Top
The time allowed is different for different types of courses. High school students in Mathematica-based courses have 9 months to complete their course (with no extensions); non-high school students have 16 weeks with the possibility of up to three 1-month extensions. Students in semester-based courses (Math 402/403) have to complete the course within the semester time frame with no extensions. ALEKS based courses are 16-weeks long from date of enrollment and do not allow extensions. Math 124 allows 6 months from date of enrollment to complete the course with no extensions. Back To Top

No. Most students have no experience with Mathematica prior to enrolling in a C&M course. We take special care to familiarize you with what you need to know to use the tool. Experience shows that the software "fades into the background" after a couple of weeks for most students. Back To Top

They transfer to any university that accepts transfer credit. Note that some universities, such as Harvard and Duke, do not accept transferred credit, but in many cases do give placement. Also note that some programs will only allow up to 12 credit hours to be transferred. Check with the university to which you wish to transfer credit. Back To Top
